Unsubscribe a Subscriber

Instructions for Publisher to Unsubscribe a Subscriber

Step 1. Navigate to Subscription Details

  • Click Subscriptions in the side Menu.
  • Find the subscriber you want to unsubscribe.
  • Click the green arrow on the right side of the subscription row.

Step 2. Subscription Details screen

  • Click the red Unsubscribe button.
  • Click the red Unsubscribe button on the popup to confirm.

Instructions for Subscriber to Unsubscribe

The subscriber can unsubscribe from the SaaS by either unsubscribing from the SaaS from the manage subscription page, or deleting the resource group that contains the SaaS.

Manage Resource Page

Step 1. Navigate to Resource Group

  • From the Azure Portal, navigate to the resource group where the SaaS you want to unsubscribe is. It can be accessed via any of the following:

    • Click on the resource group from Recent.

    • Click Resource groups in the portal menu. Portal Menu 1 Portal Menu 2

    • Click Resource groups from the Navigate section of the home page. Navigate

    • On the Resource groups page, click on the name of the resource group. Resource Group

Step 2. Navigate to SaaS Resource Management Page

  • Once inside the resource group, click on the SaaS resource you want to unsubscribe from. SaaS

Step 3. Cancel Subscription

  • Once in the SaaS resource management page, click on Cancel subscription. Cancel Sub

On the confirmation popup:

  • Tick the I have read and I understand the implications of cancelling this SaaS subscription check box.

  • Select the relevant reason for cancelling the subscription.

  • Click Cancel subscription. Confirmation

  • Once the unsubscription is successful, you can then delete the resource. Delete SaaS

Delete Resource Group

Deleting a resource group that contains a subscription will unsubscribe the subscriber.

Step 1. Navigate to Resource Group

  • From the Azure Portal, navigate to the resource group where the SaaS you want to unsubscribe is. It can be accessed via any of the following:

    • Click on the resource group from Recent.

    • Click Resource groups in the portal menu. Portal Menu 1 Portal Menu 2

    • Click Resource groups from the Navigate section of the home page. Navigate

    • On the Resource groups page, click on the name of the resource group. Resource Group

Step 2. Delete Resource Group

  • Once inside the resource group, click on the Delete resource group button. Delete Resource Group This will delete the resource group and all resources within it.

On the confirmation popup:

  • Enter the name of the resource group in the text box.
  • Click Delete. Delete Confirmation
